My Kindergarten students love to learn using technology. I have purchased some fantastic Kindergarten reading and math curriculum that could be enhanced through the use of two iPads. The technology component of the curriculum has some challenging letter games, word games, stories, and math games that can be played using iPads during centers and small group instruction. Many of my students are ESL students and will greatly benefit from additional practice using iPads. Our Title I school does not currently have any technology that will allow my students to use this piece of the curriculum.
The addition of two iPads will inspire my students excel in reading, math, and science through the use of fun engaging technology! My students love learning about their world. We recently began our unit over insects and having iPads to look up facts and information about insects would be an amazing way to bring real world learning into my classroom.
