Jellyfish chairs, Wobble Chairs, Scoop Rocking Seats, stools, and Balance Ball desk chairs. My co-teacher and I love to watch our little tiny humans grow and learn to love school. We have really been looking into different seating options for our students, with and without special needs. However, it gets really expensive to change a whole class. Over the summer we gave one wobble chair a test run. The kids love it. But, the kids argue over who gets to sit in it. We are ready to introduce other options like these requested Jellyfish chairs, Wobble Chairs, scoop rockers, stools and Balance Balls chairs to replace the typical chairs in our classroom. With this these new seats, our students can simultaneously move and focus on their work. For us to be able to do this we need your help! Research shows that flexible seating options have helped kids of all learning styles in so many ways. We have students in our classroom from all backgrounds and abilities, we want our students to want to come to school and learn to love education at a very young age. We are very passionate about allowing our students to be themselves in our classroom and to make their own choices about learning and how they learn best. This is one way we can help them by allowing them to choose how best they learn BUT we can not afford to do it alone. This is where you come in.
