My students are enthusiastic learners who try their best to learn to read, write reports, and collect science data. In addition, they are learning the importance of working in a group and cooperating in their learning experiences. Sixty-one percent of students at our school receive free and/or reduced lunch services.
The majority of my students are either students from families struggling financially or English Language Learners, who are primarily resettled refugees who came from refugee camps that had sometimes insufficient--or sometimes no--resources to educate students.
