I have picked out educational games for my students to use during the school day. These games include reading and math. The reading games will give the students support with main ideas, inferencing, vocabulary, cause and effect, informational text, and comprehension. The math games will cover fractions, decimals, multiplication, division, and geometry.
The games will be set up in centers where students can play these in groups. We will rotate the games as the year goes on, and come back to them for continued practice and support. A few of the games we will also be able to play as a whole class. Others will be used as individual games, with self-checking.
I also have some science folders and social studies grab and go games. These will be great to use on days I set up center time for those subjects. They also get us out of our books and using some fun materials.
