Our first-grade classroom is all about flexible seating. Flexible seating gives my students more choices and keeps them engaged and excited about our lessons. It also allows students to collaborate, communicate, and think critically. Most importantly, ensuring students are comfortable is essential in motivating them. Lastly, research shows that flexible seating increases student engagement, improves student participation, and increases positive learning outcomes.
