Our students are wonderful children with diverse cultural backgrounds. Our children have high needs; some are learning English and others need extra academic support. They are hard working children who are eager to learn. I will be teaching a fourth grade class with about 28 students in a school that has about 50% of students receiving free or reduced lunch. Our school works hard to bring the best learning opportunities to students in spite of budget limitations. I want to help us move forward by creating fun and engaging activities for students to learn.
