Pre-K is so much more than just playing. It is the year that a child takes the first steps on his/her journey of life long learning. In my classroom, my students become family. We laugh, learn, love, struggle and accomplish so many things together. My goal in education is not just to teach...it's to give my students an advantage in life and to set up the stage for their success. Aside from academics, we focus on gross/fine motor skills, soft skills, communication skills, problem solving skills, imagination, dreaming and creativity. A child is not just a "student" in my eyes. My students are future doctors, dentists, scientists, artists or even the president! I want to give each and every child who enters my class, the tools to help his/her for life! I am so very grateful for any and every contribution that are given to my current and future students. Every gift will be another reason a student loves learning!
