My awesome 6th graders come to school with eagerness to learn and enthusiasm. In class, you could see their excitement to read books of different genres. Literacy in the Middle is the new curriculum of our district this year which aims to improve the literacy of students and encouraging them to read, read, read, which I do believe is a key component to success. Most of my students are English Language Learners. I also have students who are non-English speakers. Despite their limitations, I could see that they want to be successful in class, in life. In addition, these kids also belong to disadvantaged families, but they do not see this a hindrance to pursue their studies. Thank you in advance for your donation to fund my project to help my kids have a comfortable place for learning and be successful.
