I want my students to have flexible seating and be able to choose what seat works best for them. Students will have the choice of wobble stools, cushions, stools, and floor lap desks. Each seating option provides a different style based on what the student may need.
In first grade, different seating options add excitement and comfort to our day!
First graders love to wiggle and move around. Sitting in a traditional chair is not as exciting or comfortable for some students. The goal of flexible seating is to give students the choice to sit in a chair they prefer, which allows them to focus on their work and not be distracted trying to get comfortable. It is also designed to help students that struggle with attention. Flexible seating allows more focus on creativity and productivity!
