My 9th and 10th grade students are motivated to succeed, despite living in a low-income community. Many of them will be the first in their families to graduate high school and attend college. We are a Title One school in California that has made amazing growth over the past three years, but many students do not have access to reading books, computers or technology at home. They become highly engaged when their lessons include access to high interest reading materials and technology. They love collaborating and celebrating each other's successes.
About my class
