Having new books on a level that we can read together will allow for more exposure to literature. They can have rich discussions about stories that are exciting and engaging. They can mark the actual text instead of trying to take notes or use a screen. Special education students really benefit from a hard copy of their novels and it extends their learning in so many ways. Simply being able to go back into the text is a huge advantage for my kids and when learning is accessible it’s simply more enjoyable. This will allow us all to grow together as a class.
