The materials I have requested will help to build an environment that will allow my students to build, draw, create, and move throughout the classroom. They will build their social skills by interacting with other students during morning work using these morning tubs as a way of engaging with their classmates. Through the art of play, students will be learning and not know they are learning. Students will learn how to interact, share, and play kindly with their friends. Letter tiles, phonics dominoes, and story cubes will be used to reinforce their skills and concepts in reading. Geo-boards and link and learn links will allow students the ability to use manipulatives to liven up their learning in math. In order to reinforce our school goal for STEAM projects my students will be enriched by using their creativity to build and create using Magna-Tiles, Legos, Tinker-toys, and Play-doh. My students will look forward to the start of our day and will be excited to engage in our daily routines through the art of play.
