My school is one of the largest populated in our district on an elementary level and very diverse with 19 different languages. Mostly very low income to which many times I am buying these students socks, coats, clothes, etc out of own pocket. I get some food banks to donate food. My department has very limited money which we use for books, workbooks, paper, etc. I would like these students to be exposed to what is out there since the most they learn is in the classrooms. They are all good children but they only know there world. Some do not have even televisions. They do not ever go on vacations and most do not even go to the beaches even though we are like a mile away from them due to no transportation.
