Hi! My name is Liz and I am a teacher at Hartford Public High School in Hartford, Connecticut. I was born and raised in Connecticut and believe there is no place like home and like community. I am in my 8th year of teaching at HPHS and I absolutely love my amazing students, historic school, growing city, and loving community. For as far as I can remember my passion has been teaching and every day I get to live my dream job as a high school English teacher. Reaching that goal has been both challenging and rewarding filled with moments and memories of laughter, love, and adversity. Each new school year comes with new ideas, new curriculum, new skills and concepts, new plans, and new eager, smiling faces with goals and dreams. I look forward to setting and achieving our goals and dreams this year together and I am extremely grateful for your support, kindness, and love along the way!
