The robotic mini-ball will allow my students to overcome challenges with technology and complete tasks using 21st-century technology. They will collaborate with their teammates and solve each challenge created by their fellow classmates. The robotics mini-balls will also be utilize to reinforce mathematical concepts such as perimeter. Three third grade classrooms will have access to these robotic mini balls robots.
Your donation will allow my students develop curiosity into learning how things work in robotics and most importantly possibly make changes in our future; as well as providing needed reading material to our bilingual classrooms that will make a difference in their reading comprehension.
They will be participating in discussions and reflections on the book. They will critically discuss in Spanish their finding about characters motives. These books contain new vocabulary in Spanish for them which helps their reading level in Spanish to grow.
The last item will support students who struggle with grasping fraction concepts. Manipulatives and hands on material is essential to learn fractions.
