Hi! The materials and equipment that I am asking for are essential to create a special education classroom that is conducive to learning, both academically and emotionally. The area that my school is in is in a rough neighborhood, and because of budget cuts, resources are tight.
These students are the students who need support the most, and resources are needed for that support. These students have special needs that I currently do not have the equipment/resources for. As my students are in kindergarten and 1st grade, the year that they spend with me will be a foundation for them in the future, and will set the precedent for how they approach school in the future.
These students need fidgets to keep their hands busy, while their minds are busy learning! A laminator is essential for helping students learn words, and for assisting in writing skills that are essential in the classroom. As many of my students have autism, a regimented schedule is necessary, and we do not currently have a schedule holder.
Thank you for your support!
