I believe in equity, truth, honesty. I want to do right by my students -- because if you know better do better. I am on a path to constantly improve my teaching practice and the experiences of my students.
I work at an amazing public school in downtown Los Angeles. Most of my students live in the neighborhood, but some commute in the LA traffic. When they arrive in math class I aim to provide a welcome learning space where they can all shine.
Words from my most recent anonymous student survey:
"In this class I learn new things everyday and it really helps me. The learning environment is great."
"This class helps me learn in a fun way and there is a lot of group activities to help each other."
I am proud to be a National Board Certified, Math for America fellow. I thank you for your support!
