My students are my inspiration! They inspire me to presume competence and set the bar high for them each and every day! They make up a class of unique peers, all ranging in abilities and talents. We are a Special Education K-2 classroom full of students that progress leaps and bounds and tackle their challenges one step at a time. My students are kind, silly, funny, creative, spontaneous, and courageous. They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. As their Special Education teacher, it is my job to provide instruction in math, literacy, and functional skills as well as encourage student self-efficacy, self-confidence, and student independence to help them reach their full potential.
