These Chromebooks will be used for my students to research real-world science applications. For example, when we talk about how volcanoes are formed and erupt, my students will be able to research historical as well as current volcanic eruptions around the world.
Computer competency is important in today's world. There are several of my students that do not have computer access at home, so this will give them must needed keyboard practice. Therefore, they will be accustomed to testing on computers by the end of year testing.
These resources will also be utilized in my social studies classes. They will use them to research and complete things such as important people of Mississippi's past and present.
