We use dry erase boards almost daily in my classroom, especially in math and language arts. Students use whiteboards for guided practice which allows me to see exactly what they are doing and keeps them engaged. We have done our best to take care of shower board, but over time, it has become stained and does not work with our magnetic manipulatives.
Donating to our project will increase student attention and achievement in math and language arts.
Do magnets stick to the carpet or wooden desks? This is the struggle currently faced when using magnetic manipulatives in my classroom - there's no where magnetic to use them as designed. Having our own magnetic whiteboards will allow us to use magnets we already own for word families, identifying prefix, suffix, and word roots.
