Most of my students in my classroom come from low socioeconomic status and are from various cultural backgrounds. Almost all of my students speak two languages. They practice a growth mindset when challenges arise. They are working towards training their brain with a growth mindset and ready to give 100% in all they do. My students love learning, they work collaboratively, and are ready to explore their imagination and creative thinking skills with challenging STEM activities, science and math concepts.
They strive to do their best everyday in all academic subjects despite most being at a disadvantage by coming from a low income family. Most students' parents do not own a computer at home and lack computer skills such as research and typing.
Overall, my students come to school ready to learn. They truly inspire me everyday and my goal is to try to give them a successful year filled with meaningful learning.
