My students struggle with reading and reading comprehension, yet want to read the same novels as their peers. I want to provide them the opportunity to read a grade level text that they will enjoy. Graphic novels are a great way to reach students of all levels and give them the gift of reading. These books will be used to do a novel study during our 7th grade LA class. We are doing a science fiction unit and I'm hoping to make it as engaging as possible and get my students excited to read!
