My students need to have to opportunity to "move" without moving in an unsafe way. Regular chairs do not give students that option. Those students that need to move while seated often rock in the chair, making the regular seat a safety hazard. I have students that would benefit from this alternative seating. My students need to be able to move while being seating at their desks to complete their classwork. By providing this alternative seating the students are more likely to be engaged during discussion and academic practice because their impulses are being occupied safely through the bouncing provided with the stability ball seating.
