Yikes! That floor is COLD!
Our music classroom is without adequate, appropriate, and comfortable seating for every students' specific needs. These seats will help our students with their posture when playing instruments, as well as creating a comfortable environment to write and read music. These seats will also help our students with special needs participate in our inclusion classes more fully. They will be more comfortable physically, and they will be able to reach and hold instruments without strain.
The rug will provide a soft landing for all students (especially during those cold winter months), as well as a safe area for students to complete instrument activities (including building, repairing, and playing instruments), music games, and play.
This project will provide students with options for seating that will ultimately allow them to learn in the way that is best for them.
