Hands on STEM activities have a positive influence on student learning. Making science fun and interesting helps my student do much more than just learn. It inspires them to stretch their boundaries and get in touch with their innate creativity. These STEM tools will foster their passion for learning and keep fueling their creativity!
The Erector Sets and K’NEX Model kits will allow my students to design and build prototypes of their engineering projects. They can then use these prototypes to create their final projects. These materials will allow students to experience, first hand, the engineering and design process. The shelving units will provide storage for these projects during the design and redesign phase.
I have seen students get absorbed in the creative process and become completely immersed in solving the problems that inevitably arise during testing and re-testing their ideas. The more tools I can provide to support this creativity, the better!
