My classroom has lots of wiggles in here! These seats will help them to stay on task and give them opportunities to find a way that is comfortable for them to work. Many of my students end up tipping their chairs and get hurt as a result of this. We also have many students who like to work on the floor, but don't like to use the clipboards that we have, because they are too hard for them to open. The flexible seating arrangements that have been chosen would help this out greatly!
Flexible seating is empowering students through movement! They spend so much time sitting with devices or sitting still to learn, that the flexible seating will allow for them to be in charge of their learning. The students will be able to choose a place in the classroom that is most beneficial to them. It will also allow for them to start to understand their learning style.
