Help me build a solid library for my classroom filled with books my students will really enjoy! Having a rich classroom library is essential to all elementary school classrooms, and I want mine to shine! Literacy is the foundation of elementary education, and it begins and continues with a quality classroom library and a text-rich environment. As an English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher, I will use the texts in the library to support my instruction by providing concrete examples of writing techniques in a format that is relevant to my students. I have also requested some primary source posters to display in my literacy-rich Social Studies instruction.
