Technology is constantly changing, but it seems that no matter how much it changes children always seem to know how to use it. They LOVE to sit and work with iPads, Chromebooks, and other handheld pieces of technology and problem solve. They become the drivers of their own learning and are able to do so with things that they are interested in.
By giving my students Makey Makey sets, I will be able to foster a love of inquiry and help supports students as they become 21st century learners. Makey Makey allows students to problem solve and use technology to design and implement their own ideas. These kits will help the students grow and become more comfortable with STEM activities in the classroom.
