Let's face it, sitting completely "still" can be quite a task. As a guideline some research suggests using a child’s age as a general starting point for the number of minutes a child can attend to a single assigned task…so five minutes for a five year old, seven minutes for a seven year old etc. If you have ever been in a Kindergarten classroom, you may have noticed that this reality, is quite possibly even a shorter time frame.
In efforts to help students "wiggle while they work", Wobble Chairs are a great flexible seating option that lets the child move (wobble) in a safe manner while still managing to stay on-task. Each super-safe stool has a rounded base that allows kids a little movement while they sit—without tipping over! No more asking Little Johnny to sit still! Not to mention, it adds a little "pop" of color to the classroom.
Can you imagine a fidgety child's reaction to getting the opportunity to sit in a "moving chair"? I can literally see them 'wobbling' now!
