This project is for my students to practice many life skills. They will be picking out a recipe. Going shopping and purchasing the supplies. Then we are following the recipe and baking the items. We will be selling the items to the teachers in the building.
With this project, there are many social skills to practice. We will practice deciding on a recipe. We will practice using expected behavior in the store and looking for the items to purchase. Then we will be practicing keeping our hands clean while cooking. Most importantly, we will practice our communication and social skills by selling the items we cook to the teachers in the building and moving safely around the building!
