My students are amazing given all the adversity they face! We are a Title 1 school which gets government funding due to the lower level of incomes our population serves. So many of these children never attend a preschool. My students LOVE the computers. We enjoy using reading web sites which challenge their reading development as well as strengthens their math skills. I have several students who start off speaking little or no English. The listening center is vital for these children so they can hear a good English reader, read a story to them.
