My students love to listen to books in the classroom. Having inviting, exciting new books to take home and listen to over and over again will help my students develop a life-long love of reading!
I teach 23 kindergarten children in a high-poverty area of New Mexico. Our school is Title One and our student population receives 100% free breakfast and lunch. Many of my students are English Language Learners. Many of my students never hear a story at home. My students love to be read to and spend most of their free time at school asking teachers to read them a story.
