Students need an opportunity to explore the world around them, problem solve, and create. This STEM cart, stocked with materials and challenges, will provide a stimulating and challenging work area for my students. Students will solve real world problems like flash flooding, and building a bridge. I would like to incorporate a Friday STEM Challenge, as well as STEM bins to use throughout the week, to expand their learning. Fridays will be our STEM Challenge Day where students will work in teams to complete a STEM challenge connected to our current unit of study and/or a monthly theme. The cart will also allow students to explore, construct, and solve STEM problems during the week at their own pace.
