Times are tough and that is why we need your help! Our school recently purchased two new curriculums and so there is no money left over for books for the students to read and other supplies.
My students are hungry for knowledge! All of them are English Language Learners. Learning a second language is not easy, especially English. The school is a Title I school, with low-income families. The parents work long hours, and many of them do not know English either. Not only do they have to learn a new language, but how to read, write and understand all of their academic coursework at the same time. Despite their challenges, every single day they come to school and give all they got to their education.
