"Art is not what you see, but what you make others see." Edgar Degas shows us the importance of viewing art in teaching art. I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade art, and I have some great artists in my classes. I would love to share the great masters of art with my students, but I have no way of showing them different forms of art. I do not have a SmartBoard or a projector in my classes. I also have to travel between two schools, so I need something portable, so I can take it back and forth with me. My school is in a district that has some low-income areas. Sometimes students from these areas are in need of special instruction.
