I have a mix of great kids from varying levels of ability, including a number of special ed students. My students are the kind of people who will hold the door for you or rush over to help you carry a box. Great kids.
We like to do projects, explore the world through Virtual Reality, read contemporary American literature, research our family histories, read plays and do "vision boards." We just need the materials to do fun outside-the-textbook projects, esp. since I have so many students who live in poverty.
