I teach some truly awesome students who live and play in a high poverty, low socioeconomic, downtown area. They LOVE learning and their smiles and big hugs inspire me to keep bringing my best just like I expect of them! Our school is right in the center of downtown, so that means where they live is where they work, too. They are loving, energetic, inquisitive students ready to give their all, supported by the free breakfast and lunch, tutoring, and after school programs provided.
