It is said that many of the jobs students are currently being educated for haven't even been thought of yet. This is certainly true in the computer field. Being exposed to the experience of computer language through coding is critical to the successful futures of these students. Botley the Coding Robot provides a hands-on learning opportunity that supports understanding of and engagement in computer coding. Having the Botley robots and accessories in my classroom will allow me to create engaging, differentiated learning activities in all curriculum areas while teaching the skill of coding. The Botley Robots can grow with the students as their knowledge of programming increases. The educational and lifelong benefits the knowledge of computer programming will give these students is immense.
