As my class is full of students with all different needs, we are need of some new learning tools so that we can reach our full potential! A few needs we have are books, Math center toys, letter center toys, manipulatives for fine motor skills, sensory objects and some comfortable seating for our "Quiet Time"/reading nook. Such as wooden knobbed puzzles, Alphabet and number sorting games, sensory books, books about feelings, and magnet blocks.
My goal is to provide my students with everything they need to be successful as they become school aged kids. Giving my students different ways to engage in learning is very important to me. Books are a HUGE need right now. We currently need board books with textures for my kids with sensory needs. We need new and fun ways to engage in learning our numbers and Alphabet as our students are more hands on and visual than the average preschool.
By donating to our class, you are giving our students the tools they need to reach for the stars! The purpose of this class is to give students with delays and needs an extra boost and a leg up in the elementary world. My hopes for them are to reach their IEP goals and be able to join a general education Kindergarden class with all the knowledge and skills they need to adequately succeed.
