My students are great kids who are eager to learn. They are ready to begin reading. Many of my students are already reading and are independent workers. Weekly I send students to the library to take tests on books they have read. I would love to have my students be able to take these tests in the classroom. I then could have more children test since I would have access to the computers for more than 30 minutes a week. I have parent volunteers willing to help my students on the computer and monitor there time. I have a great parent support this year. The school is in an area where parents want to help but do not always have the financial means to do so. I even live in the area myself and my children attend the school. I love my school, students, and families, I truly feel that a computer would be a great asset to the class.
