Help me provide my students with a learning environment that is both organized but flexible to their learning needs. I truly believe that my students will benefit from walking into a classroom that allows them options to learn. They can have an opportunity to learn with the use of flexible seating arrangements. Whether they choose to use wobble stool, portable lap desk or would prefer to utilize a simple fidget to stimulate their focus. Providing these options, will allow my students to feel a sense of responsibility for their own learning.
In my classroom, I provide small group sessions that are specific to my students needs. With this, I find that with having an organized classroom where students can locate and access tools easily will allow my sessions to run smoother. My students will benefit from the organization tools such as containers and carts for easy access materials.
The books that are included will help my students learn about everyday social skills that they work on in various settings. When we learn about a skills, I love to refer back to a visual or something concrete.
