I am asking for charging stations because we all know how reliant teenagers are on their phones. I stress a NO PHONE policy in class, but unfortunately it does not always work. Phone charging stations will provide a safe place for my students to charge/house their phones while they are in class.
Charging station will allow my students to be distraction free and able to engage in learning ASL by having good eye contact and "free" hands to sign.
The CD/DVD player along with the projector will give me additional tools to teach my multi-level classes at one time. My curriculum is visual and is DVD based, students need to watch videos as part of their learning. Having a projector and CD/DVD player will help support student learning.
