I teach a 2nd grade self-contained class. This year, 95% of my class consists English language learners at the beginning to intermediate levels. The majority of my students have non-English speaking parents at home who are not able to assist with school work. Most of my students have very little exposure to the world outside their neighborhood. My students are energetic and curious children who love learning.
