Welcome to Mrs. Sanderson's classroom! I am a 1st grade teacher at a Title 1 public school. Many of my students come from low income families and have limited resources for learning. I strive to provide a safe and caring environment that feels inviting and allows students to be interested in learning. I work hard to provide all the necessary tools they need to learn in a way that works best for them. All students are different so it is important to have a variety of learning opportunities in the classroom. As a teacher, my brain never stops thinking about ways I can make my lessons more engaging or how I can differentiate activities to meet the needs of all of my students. I try to get to know my students on a personal level and to be in their lives outside of school so they know I care outside of the classroom. I want my students to know they are loved. Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my students!
