You ask, "How will headphones help your class?". Let me tell you. In our class we have thirty students and our students do many different programs on Kindles or Chromebook computers that help with reading, math, writing and science. With so many students in our class even slight sounds on thirty computers turns into a distracting rumble where the students feel that it is ok to get off task.
Having headphones will set a focus in the classroom. While working on any program, every student will be able to hear only what they need to hear. The distraction of others will disappear. Students will be able to work on what they need to work on and feel successful with clear instructions from the programs.
