My students will benefit from these requested items by getting them engaged in hands-on learning using STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) projects. Students will be challenged to solve a problem, allowed time to explore, discover and problem solve, and then reflect on their learning by writing or drawing what they have discovered. The Osmo bundles, Design & Build Engineering Centers, and the Building Brick System will allow students to use hands-on activities to work on reading, science, math and engineering activities. The students will manipulating shapes, objects, and problem solve to complete the tasks and later reflect on their work. All of these items will help the kindergarten students learn more about the world around them.
