I teach 2nd grade in one of the poorest cities in the country. Most of my students are economically disadvantaged. We face many challenges, but I truly believe every student can succeed and learn.
My classroom is comprised of 24 amazing and dedicated students with a wide variety of backgrounds and levels. Many of my students are English Language Learners, Learning Support students, and below grade level. Despite these obstacles, they come to school every day with a smile on their face, ready to learn!
