Our students are curious and ready for new experiences. Many of our students do not experience a positive learning environment at home. The demographic of our school consists of over 90% low income families. There are many challenges our students face outside of the school however inside they know they are safe and surrounded by staff that are empathetic and understanding. Most of my students are experiencing school for the first time which can be scary but they know when they come to school they are going to have fun and learn while doing it. Their parents are always telling me how excited they are when it is time to go to school.
