My students are just getting started in learning to love music. Most of my students are from low-income families, so often music classes are seen as too expensive or simply unattainable. We are working hard to make sure that every student who wants to study music can be part of it, and we're slowly growing the numbers in the band and chorus programs. I really think these students benefit the most from being part of a like-minded group that is much bigger than the individuals, even if they don't know that's what they need!
