My students attend a Title I school in a lower economic area of Southern California. My students struggle with leaving their home problems at the door when they come to school each day, but they are very eager to learn. At home they do not have access to many of the tools that are required to succeed in today's economy, so our school and teachers work very hard to provide a safe and engaging environment for our kids to help bridge this gap.
